The Kuzuu District belongs to the Chichibu Paleozoic stratum,and dolomite mines are exposed in the form of semi-horseshoe shape,and dolomite occurs in limestone in layers The stratum is formed in order of upper limestone,dolomite,lower limestone,and sandstone from the top,and tilts inwards by about 30 degrees.Ohgama Mines are located in the northern part of the Kuzuu District,and the stratum lies east and west tilted by 20 to 25 degrees.The thickness of the stratum is assumed to be about 80 to 100 meters.The dolomite quality is high and stable.
